Victor Li, Professor of Civil Engineering and a professor of Materials Science and Engineering has developed ECC concrete with a special coat of reinforcing fibers which allows some micro cracks instead of big cracks destroying the entire structure. Unlike a traditional concrete, ECC Concrete are not brittle and also educe corrosion.
